This fully online and asynchronous course allows participants to learn at their own pace, providing 16 hours of training that combines theoretical insights with practical reflections on how individuals can contribute as global citizens.
Course Content
The program is organized into four modules, each aimed at enhancing key competencies and inspiring responsible global action:
- Module 1: Responsible Global Citizen Dive into the core concepts of global citizenship and sustainable development, with a focus on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Inner Development Goals (IDGs).
- Module 2: Globally Competent Local Community: Investigate how global citizenship influences your local environment by developing skills such as democratic culture, civic participation, and social inclusion.
- Module 3: Global Citizens for a Sustainable Hope Envision a range of possible sustainable futures, fostering active hope and collaboratively creating a better world.
- Module 4: BeGlobal Trainer’s Manual for Global Citizenship Access a wide array of pedagogical resources and practical tools designed for those wishing to disseminate knowledge and train new global citizens.
